review:-D-Day had a poor opening at the box office, with occupancies of around 15–20% in the morning shows. The movie collected INR2.75 crore (US$440,000) nett in its first day, which was later changed to as INR2.9 crore (US$460,000) nett.The movie saw a sharp rise in the collections in the second day, with an estimated amount of INR5 crore (US$800,000) nett, which was later estimated at INR4.5 crore (US$720,000) nett. The movie went on to collect INR5.5 crore (US$880,000) nett on Sunday, taking its first weekend collections to INR12.9 crore (US$2.1 million) nett.The movie went on to collect INR24 crore (US$3.8 million) nett in its first week. It collected INR4 crore (US$640,000) nett in its second week, taking its total collections to INR28 crore (US$4.5 million) nett. It was declared as a flop by Box Office India, which estimated its two-week collections at INR17.5 crore (US$2.8 million) nett.
